Mirko Cocco is an indipendent tv/film/video director raised in Rome (Italy) during the 70's, and now living and working near Amsterdam (The Netherlands).
As a kid he often used to visit Cinecitta because of his uncle, Albino Cocco, at that time assistent director for Luchino Visconti who has worked on movies like il Gattopardo and Dead in Venice.
Beside movies he gets involved in music at quite a young age, first as a radio DJ at Radio Monte Cavo near Rome (age 11) later on as musician and as midi technician for several audio studios.
By the start of dutch largest commecial tv station RTL in 1989 he starts working as a cameraman where he is involved in daily live television, documentary, news, entertainment etc.

| In 1995 he gets involved with the start of the duch The Box channel (MTV networks) where his experience in the music field brings him not only to make content for the Box but also to direct concert films for DVD for natinal and international knowned artists. |
A long list of names follows, Cypress Hill, Wyclef Jean, India Arie, D12, 3 Doors down, Live, the Counting Crows etc.
In 2000 he starts his own production company.
He works for the majors (SONY, BMG, EMI, VIRGIN, WARNER, UNIVERSAL, etc) and indipendent record companies(PIAS, ROADRUNNER, TRANSMISSION,etc.) he also works directly with bands and their managers but also for event producers.
Besides music videos and concert films he is the director of a variety of documentaries and series for several DVD's and TV channels (Endemol, Top Of The Pops, VPRO, MTV etc.)

Few of his most known dvd and tv productions are Destiny's Child- World Tour, Beth Hart- Live at Paradiso,Carl Cox at Ahoy, Tuck and Pattie live.
Mirko Cocco has his own editing facilities (AVID) and a large network in the music, events, tv and film industry.
In cooperation with eTurn he developed MediaDepot(c). MediaDepot(c) gives you the opportunity to encode and distribute media trough the internet and gives you the opportunity to set up platforms as youtube and revver.
